Application
Surface preparation
All substrates must be sound, clean, dry and smooth. Repair any damaged and cracked areas. On porous and dry surfaces, a priming coat of CASTECH Coat RBE 50/10F is recommended for better penetration and adhesion; allow to dry completely before applying the coating.
Application
Stir the material before use and apply directly from the container. Uniformly coat the entire surface using a brush, trowel or squeegee. Where multiple coats are required, allow the first coat to dry and apply the second at right angles to the first. Do not thin or apply like paint.
Coverage
Coverage varies with the surface and dry film thickness required. Apply at 1.2 – 1.25 m²/L for a 400-micron dry film thickness (DFT).
Packaging & storage
Packaging
200 L drums and 20 L pails.
Storage & shelf life
Store in a covered area under normal warehouse conditions, away from direct sunlight and protected from extreme temperatures. Keep containers tightly closed. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
