CASTECH Proof SBS is a high-performance, torch-applied waterproofing membrane reinforced with a composite polyester mat and modified with Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) for exceptional elasticity, low-temperature flexibility and resistance to structural movement. It is ideal for roofs, terraces, basements and civil engineering structures.

Application
Surface preparation
Clean, dry and prepare the substrate before installing the membrane.
Application
- Torch the underside of the membrane while unrolling
- Overlap 100 mm at sides and 150 mm at ends
- Heat-seal all laps for watertight bonds
Curing
- Vertical surfaces: use CASTECH Board for backfill protection
- Horizontal surfaces: apply a 25 mm screed or surface finish
Packaging & storage
Packaging
- Standard: 1 m × 10 m rolls
- Custom sizes: available on request
Storage & shelf life
Store rolls palletized, under shade and away from direct heat and sunlight. Shelf life is 12 months in original packaging.
