About
CASTECH Tile GP provides excellent workability, making it ideal for both new installations and repair projects. Its smooth consistency upon mixing allows effortless spreading and easy alignment of tiles, reducing application time and ensuring a neat, professional finish. It adheres effectively to a variety of substrates, including cement screeds, plasters, concrete blocks and lightweight AAC, for both large-scale commercial projects and residential renovations. The adhesive is formulated to withstand environmental stresses, helping to prevent tile displacement or cracking under heavy foot traffic or fluctuating temperatures. Its durability and moisture resistance make it suitable for high-moisture areas such as bathrooms and kitchens, as well as semi-exposed outdoor areas.

Application
Surface preparation
Ensure the surface is solid, clean and stable, free from oil, grease, paint, mould release agents or curing compounds. Dampen the surface a few hours before applying the adhesive for optimal results.
Mixing
Mix each 25 kg bag of CASTECH Tile GP with 4 – 5 litres of clean water until a smooth, lump-free consistency is achieved. Allow the mixture to rest for 10 minutes, then stir again before application. A low-speed electric drill with a paddle attachment is recommended.
Application
Spread the adhesive evenly on the surface to a thickness of 3 – 4 mm, then comb it horizontally. Press each tile firmly into the adhesive bed with a slight twisting motion to ensure good contact. Apply the adhesive to no more than one square metre at a time to avoid premature drying. Joint spacing: leave a minimum spacing of 2 mm around each ceramic tile for improved flexibility and stability. Finishing: wipe away excess adhesive with a damp cloth before it sets. Grouting can be carried out after 24 hours.
Curing
24 hours with clean water.
