Application
Surface preparation
Ensure the surface is sound and free from oil, grease and other foreign matter. Repair cracks, potholes and honeycombs with a suitable CASTECH repair mortar. A primer is always recommended before coating, as it seals porous substrates and promotes adhesion of further coats. Prepare the primer on site by diluting CASTECH Coat WB with 10 – 15% water and apply by brush, roller or spray. Allow the primer to dry before further coats. If the primed surface is left for more than 24 hours after drying, clean off settled dust and re-prime.
Coverage
Depending on the dry film thickness required, apply CASTECH Coat WB at 4 – 5 m²/L/coat.
