Application
Surface preparation
The surface must be clean, dry and free of oil, grease and loosely adhering particles before priming with CASTECH Prime SB.
Application
Mix the contents of the pail or drum for a few minutes to disperse any sediment. Apply straight from the container by brush, squeegee, roller or spray at 5 – 6 m²/L to a clean, smooth, dry surface. Allow the primer to dry naturally before applying the membrane. On highly porous surfaces, a second coat is recommended.

200 L drums, 20 L and 15 L pails.
Storage & shelf life
Store in a covered area under normal warehouse conditions, away from direct sunlight and protected from extreme temperatures. Keep containers tightly closed. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
Health & safety
CASTECH Prime SB contains volatile solvent with a low flash point (< 42°C). Keep well away from naked flames. PPE: Gloves, protective masks and goggles should be worn during application. Precautions: Avoid inhalation of vapours and ensure adequate ventilation. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. Additional information: Refer to MSDS (available on request).
